Pelican Guest House & Hostel - Chernivtsi

I had a great time at this guest house! the location was perfect, just a short distance from the central street, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful. the hosts were incredibly helpful and answered all my questions about the city. the room was exactly as shown in the photos - clean and comfortable. the bathroom was well-maintained and the service was top-notch.

I did have a minor concern about the door lock in my room.

This family-run hostel is an absolute gem! The friendly lady who runs it made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The rooms, bathroom, and sheets were spotless - I couldn't believe how clean everything was! And let me tell you, the bed was so comfortable, I had the best night's sleep. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped, and I loved being able to cook my own meals. Plus, the endless supply of tea and coffee was a real treat. The location couldn't have been better, with plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and must-see attractions just a stone's throw away. Trust me, you won't want to miss out on this fantastic spot!

Friendly staff, clean and well-equipped kitchen. Great location near the city center, restaurants, and bars. Close to bus station for easy access to transportation. Comfortable beds with lockers. Spacious kitchen with balcony and nice view. Manager is very nice. Near train station, excellent value for money. Enjoyed the stay and will return.

The balcony offered a panoramic view - if you can find it. The location was "close" to the City Hall - if you consider a 20-minute walk close. The hostel had a cozy, home-like feel - if you like noisy roommates.

The "cozy" feel quickly disappears when you realize there's no soundproofing.

The beds were super comfortable, and the hostel was very clean. the staff was friendly and caring, making me feel right at home. I also loved the great location, with everything I needed within walking distance.

It was a bit inconvenient that the hostel had a strict check-out time and didn't allow guests to stay in the common areas after check-out. It would have been nice to have more flexibility, especially when needing to do some work or waiting for a later train.

Great hospitality, friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, convenient location near the city center.

Felt safe and secure, no complaints.
